Out main goal at Children's Center of Monrovia is to help children reach their full potential in all areas of life. We are a Montessori school on a quaint 4 acre campus nestled on the edge of Frederick County, MD bordering Montgomery and Howard Counties. We are just moments away from Linganore!
We have numerous programs we offer including a structured education program for ages 2 to 5 that excels in preparing children for kindergarten and beyond; we also offer infant & toddler programs, as well as, before and after school care for children ages 6 to 12.
The Montessori Method
The main purpose of all Montessori schools is to provide a wisely planned, stimulation environment which helps children develop an outstanding foundation for creative learning, not just through educational materials, but also with fun activities. Children's Center of Monrovia offers a rich environment for children to develop using the Montessori method.
Montessori Programs & Curriculum Offered
Children's Center of Monrovia offers an infant room, toddler room, preschool classes, pre-kindergarten classes, school age class and a summer program. Our teacher and assistants are carefully selected and specifically trained by the school owners/director to provide students with a higher quality of education. Each teacher meets or exceeds the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) licensing requirements and truly love and understand child development which is our philosophy!
